Because I believe in Habitat's work and that every family deserves a safe, secure home, I have signed up to be a volunteer for Habitat-NYC's Single Build Event. This exciting one-day build will give me a chance to be a constructioner-worker-for-a-day (which I have always wanted to be) as well as give me the opportunity to work side by side with other socially-conscious single volunteers.
I need your help to be a part of this. My goal is to raise a minimum of $300 to help underwrite a portion of the building materials for homes in Ocean Hill\Brownsville, Brooklyn, which will become homes to 41 families.
This is a wonderful organization, and I hope you will help me be a participant in the first ever Singles Build at Habitat-NYC.
